The Man Without Fear is primed for a potential huge year in 2022. Daredevil is set to make his triumphant return in a comic book relaunch this Summer, and the character has officially been introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well. This could make it a banner year for everyone’s favorite vigilante/lawyer.

New Daredevil Series

Coming this Summer, Daredevil is getting relaunched. Following the end of the current Devil’s Reign storyline, a creative team led by Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto will reassemble to head a brand-new era with Daredevil #1. Both Matt Murdock and Elektra Natchios look to play pivotal roles in the new series. Both characters have been through the gauntlet due to their respective roles as Daredevil. Now they must face their demons together. Writer Chip Zdarsky is excited to continue working on the series. He had this to say in a press release: “Getting to write Daredevil and work with Marco is a career highlight. I’m just genuinely excited that we get to continue our epic story with this new issue one!”

Marco Checchetto will continue as artist, and he’s looking forward to the challenges that he knows Zdarsky will provide him: “Each time I’ve to draw a new script of Daredevil it’s a new experience. Chip keeps throwing at me new challenges and I’m not the type of artist to refuse them. How much more can we mess up with Matt Murdock’s life? Let’s see with this new Daredevil #1.”

The fact that this creative team gets to continue doing more Daredevil stories despite the relaunch is welcome news. They have promised to swing for the fences, and we’ll get our first taste of what’s in store this June when Daredevil #1 is released.

Daredevil Season 4?

Charlie Cox’s role as Daredevil in the now cancelled Netflix series is regarded as one of the best Marvel shows ever made. Cox played the lawyer by day, vigilante by night for three seasons. He also starred as the blind hero in the ensemble Defenders series. If anybody is counting, that makes Daredevil one of the most successful Marvel television characters of the MCU era. Now rumors are beginning to circulate that Cox may reprise his role in a fourth season on Disney Plus. After his cameo appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home, these rumors have picked up major steam. Though nothing has been announced, there’s no way he was brought in just for a one-off appearance. Whether it’s on the small screen, the big screen, or even both, we can likely expect to see Cox suit up as Daredevil again soon!
